Class Duration and Rotational Modules
The Total Duration of the iBT class at CIty Education is 8 weeks. We place an equal emphasis on all the modules with extra emphasis on the new ‘integration. The following is the break up of all module durations.
Speaking- 2 weeks
Reading- 2 weeks
Writing – 2 weeks
Listening- 2 weeks
All iBT courses at CIty Education are rotational in nature. This means that you can join a new module virtually every Monday. Phone the friendly counselor on duty at City Education and enquire about the class timings or just contact us online and we will get back to you to tell you when you can start a clas

Facilities and Testing
As an alumnus of City Education, you can expect the best facilities. With full day lab and library access, you have a wealth of material to study and a fast internet connection to do all your internet research. In addition to all these, you are also allowed, at no extra cost, to repeat any module that you feel you are not doing well at. Lastly, our instructors are accessible and friendly and are available at the institute all day for advice and assistance.
Testing
Every Sunday is testing day! With full length tests every Sunday, we build up testing stamina and put you in the frame of mind in where you are prepared to take on just about anything. The full length tests include speaking and are as comprehensive as the ‘real' tests.
Training Modules and Free Materials
We use world class training modules at City Education! In the writing section, we use an essay writing program called ‘ProseMaster' that enables students to tackle just about anything that is thrown at them by way of essays. ‘ProseMaster' also incorporates the ‘integrated' elements so independent and integrated tasks are adequately tackled.
In the ‘Listening' section, we use a sufficient amount of materials that are from the official source (ETS) as well as from world reputed exam prep companies like ‘Longman', ‘Kaplan' and ‘Princeton'
In the Reading section too we use all the above mentioned materials in addition to a vast database of material that City Education has been collecting ever since we started out in the early nineties.
In the ‘Speaking' section, we use cutting edge software that help improve the students' accents and our own software, developed by NIEC faculty, called ‘Converse'.
We also provide students at City Education with a vast range of free materials that they can take home. Over 1300 ‘Reading' questions, Over 300 sample ‘independent' essays, and listings of all Listening skills are just some of the cool stuff we give students. In addition to all this, we also give students their very own iBT manual and a CD.
